As a member of the Centre, or as a musician and valued visitor to our site, this and the Practice page are for you, to aid your enjoyment and understanding of your studies as a musician.
Any feedback you may have, either positive or negative, please let us know on enquiries@roadeartscentre.co.uk. We will be very pleased to hear from you, and if it is felt appropriate, we will get back to you with a response.
Want to practice, but got a dodgy instrument? It happens sometimes.
Use the instrument tuners below to help you, and WITH AN ADULTS HELP see if you can tune the instrument to enable you to practice it.
At all times though, if you are unsure, just leave the instrument well alone, especially violin pegs, and let your teacher fix it at your next lesson.

Key Signatures.
So you've learn't the key signatures, now can you remember the order of the sharps and flats correctly?
Try this rhyme if you get stuck with the sharps;
Father Charles Goes Down And Ends Battle
and this one for the flats,
Battle Ends And Down Goes Charles' Father
Clever isn't it? Have you your own rhyme or method of learning key signatures? If so why not email it to enquiries@roadeartscentre.co.uk If we like it, we may post it here for all to see. (with your permission of course)
